We understand that financial considerations are important to our patients, and we will work with you to ensure that they do not stand in the way of your treatment. Our focus is entirely on providing the best, most appropriate care to our patients. It has been our experience that local medical insurance companies have not been supportive of TMJ or sleep apnea dentistry and significantly limit our ability to provide top level care in a comprehensive, evidence-based manner. Therefore, we contract directly with very few insurance companies and will generally function as an out-of-network provider.
Our administrative team is very experienced in handling dental, medical, No Fault, and Workers Comp claims. Fees are typically due directly from the patient as services are provided. We will submit the claims for you and help ensure that you receive whatever reimbursement may be available. Please note that No Fault and Workers Comp claims are handled differently with payment typically coming directly from the insurance carrier to the office, and that Advanced Care Physical Therapy and Buffalo Nutrition and Dietetics are independent practices with their own insurance arrangements. We are pleased to offer third party financing to our patients, including Care Credit, enabling you to pay for treatment in installments, up to one year interest-free. Forms of payment accepted by the office include check, cash, and major credit cards.
Please understand that insurance company policies constantly change and it is not always possible to get accurate information. Although we do our best to work with the various insurance companies, financial responsibility ultimately falls to the patient.
